Brian & I both grew up in Brock Township but as often happens, we moved away for school and work. 12 Addresses in 15 years meant we were never long in one place. Building, renovating, buying, selling ... we even did a stint in the West Montreal area for a while, but being away from family and friends was not the path for us. When it came time to settle down to raise our family we bought back the farm where Brian grew up. From rats to bats to snakes in the basement it's an understatement to say I had no idea what we were in for. Too many critters and too many stories later, the renovation of this old farmhouse has been a labour of love. We truly have the best of both worlds. Living and working in the Brock Township / Kawartha Lakes area... we live where we play. An hour from the city and yet so much is right here, in our own backyard. Endless lakes and trails, camping, boating, fishing, golfing, skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, skating, the list goes on. Come discover the area and you'll see what we mean.
